An Intimate Proposal at High Banks
Some love stories feel like they're meant to be from the very beginning - and Brooke and Martin's proposal at High Banks Metro Park is no exception. These two first crossed paths at the University of Alabama, when Brooke was lost trying to find a restaurant. Martin stepped in to help, and from that moment on, they just clicked.
Fast forward to a quiet, summer afternoon at the River Bluff area of High Banks Metro Park in Columbus, Ohio - the perfect natural setting for a heartfelt, intimate proposal. With just the three of us surrounded by the rustling trees and views of the Olentangy River, Marty got down on one knee and asked Brooke to spend forever with him.
Brooke suspected something might be coming, but the surprise was still full of genuine emotion. Her smile said it all. It was quiet and personal - a private proposal surrounded by nature, love, and meaning.
After she said yes, we walked through flowers and captured a few soft, romantic engagement photos. They couldn't stop smiling at each other, and I couldn't stop smiling behind the camera.
If you're dreaming of a nature-filled, peaceful moment to pop the question, High Banks Metro Park is one of my new favorite spots for Columbus proposal photography. Whether it's the River Bluff, the overlook deck, or a tucked away trail, there are so many hidden gems in this park that make for the most romantic scenes
