Engaged at Inniswood!
I'm still smiling thinking about Emily and Wade's dreamy engagement session at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio. These two are not only so sweet together, but they also radiate excitement about this new season of life - which made photographing them an absolute joy.
Even though I wasn't there when Wade popped the question, hearing them retell the proposal story together during our session was the next best thing. Emily was completely shocked, and the way they both lit up talking about it was just the cutest. I love seeing that newly-engaged glow - and these two had it in spades.
What made their session even more special was the location. Emily grew up visiting Inniswood, so walking through the gardens with them felt extra sentimental. From childhood memories to engagement photos - it's always amazing when a place carries so much personal history. Now, they get to add this new chapter to that story.
By the time we met for their shoot (just a couple weeks after the proposal!), they had already locked in a date and venue. These two aren't wasting any time, and I'm so here for it. It's clear they're just so ready to start their lives together.
We explored the winding paths, lush greenery, and blooming gardens while they laughed, held hands, and soaked up every moment. Sessions like this - where everything feels easy and full of joy - are my favorite kind. It's such an honor to capture the beginning of forever for couples like Emily and Wade.
