Golden Morning Light at the Ohio Statehouse


There's nothing I love more as a Columbus engagement photographer than reconnecting with returning clients - especially when they feel like friends. Jamie and Jacob are one of those couples who just click with the camera (and with me!) every time. We met on a warm and sunny Saturday morning for their downtown Columbus engagement session outside the iconic Ohio Statehouse, and it couldn't have been a more perfect morning.


The light was golden, the streets were quiet, and the Statehouse architecture made a stunning backdrop for their elegant, romantic vibe. Jamie and Jacob are not only a gorgeous couple, but they're also full of love and laughter - two things that make for the best kind of session. Photographing their connection is effortless, and their chemistry shines through in every frame.


They're planning to elope in St. Thomas this December, and this engagement session in the heart of Columbus felt like the perfect way to celebrate before their tropical "I do."
